Teaching style includes the study of various forms of technique, theory,
musical structure, ear-training, and literature. Students are encouraged to play
in recitals frequently and also perform in Master Classes with their peers.
Specialized teaching experience includes both traditional pedagogy techniques
as well as the use of computer technology to assist in teaching children who
have autism. Research is currently being pursued to determine if the use of
music therapy along with computer technology could help special needs children
to have improved communications.
