Project coordinator working to automate neuro music techniques to create software used by special needs children. Coordinated multi-state effort in creating specifications overseen by research team with representatives from UTC, University of Kansas, and Colotado State University. Designed and provided specifications to graduate student team and interfaced with professors in overseeing development, testing, and implementation. Coocdinated project disclosure to University of Tennessee Research Foundation and published project findings in the Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges.

database interaction, as well as creating applications accessed via the web.

Data Base Administrator supported Oracle 7.X and
8.X database. Responsible for database design, backup and recovery, data
migration on Sun, HP, mainframe, and NT platforms. Responsible for implementing
new vendor products and interfacing with vendor representatives. Designed and
developed Intranet web applications for maintenance of Oracle ID's and
passwords, auditing, logs, and reporting. Also designed and developed Database
Administration Intranet home page containing secure documentation area, Oracle
monitors, TVA wide application information, development tools, and personnel
information.
Programmer Analyst supporting Y2K maintenance
efforts. Responsible for writing new date routines and rewriting all existing
date routines for TVA mainframe development. Developed web application using
new OS/390 technology to access legacy (DB2) data directly into a web page.
Maintained Intranet web application for Y2K information. Programmer Analyst supporting all ADP functions
related to telecommunications systems in TVA. Systems designed, built, and
implemented include reporting, automatic payment, FTS2000 billing, Cellular One
billing, AT&T billing, leased pagers, TVA internal pagers, and telephone
charge back. Developed database design, system design, and code for MEMOIRS, a
distributed system utilizing PowerBuilder/Oracle for Information Services Memo
Billing.

developing applications for Bar-coding Systems and Telecommunications.
Responsible for development of bar-coding inventory system for materials
management, as well as development of telecommunications circuit inventory and
FTS2000 automatic reporting systems.

Project Manager for Communications Management
System II (CMS II), a telephone/data management system comprised of
approximately 160 on-line screens, 1200 programs, 200 files, and an I/O
subsystem. Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of the
software, as well as being primary technical contact point for both internal and
external customers. Also interacted directly with customers to determine
business needs and projections for the product.
Served as technical liaison with Systems staff in the areas of CICS and DASD
management. Responsible for installing all new applications in CICS regions as
well as intensive testing of same regions for upgrades of CICS to versions 2.1
and 3.1. Also responsible for overseeing conversion of 3380 disk devices to
3390's.
Recipient of the annual George B. Westinghouse 1991 Corporate Award of
Excellence for work involving conversion of CMS II software from VS COBOL to
COBOL II. Coordinated the installation of COBOL II compiler with Westinghouse
Telecommunications Center technical staff, and personally converted all programs
to COBOL II during off hours. Developed and executed a detailed test plan to
verify the validity of all changes, and delivered and tested the project
off-site to a Beta customer.
